Okay - so you have a domain name and you're looking to sell it. Great! You entertain fantasies of cashing million dollar checks and "movin' on up to the east side!" Well before run over to tell your boss just where he can stick it, there are a few things to consider. Like for example... does your domain name have any value? How is this value determined? And - if it does have value, how much?

If you're looking to buy domains and then sell them for profit (domain investing) you need to know what type of domains to buy in the first place. Should you look around for an unregistered domain name you like and then register it? Should you buy an expired domain names? Or, should you look to buy from someone selling their domain name for a reasonable rate?

Making sure you have and understand the answers to all these questions will have a significant impact on your ability to be a successful domain investor!

Domain Investing: Digging for Diamonds or a Fool's Gold?

Is there such a thing as a sure bet in the world of gambling? Maybe not, but if there was it probably would be something like domain investing.

With a little knowledge and skill (in domain investing) an investment of ten or so bucks could return tens, even hundreds of thousands of dollars! And while this may not be the norm it happens often enough to sound far from outrageous. Even within believable boundaries, ROI's of 10,000, 20,000% are commonplace in this world!

Well if there's so much money to me made and it's so easy, why isn't everyone doing it?!
